1.Incontrast相比、相較之下 Incontrast用來比較兩個事物，Incontrast後面可以接to或是with。

Incontrast比起Incomparison，在語氣上更為強烈一點。

例： Juliaisanoptimisticperson.Incontrast,Joshispessimistic. Julia是個樂觀的人。

相反地，Josh則很悲觀。

例： Thisbagisbigincontrastwiththatone. 這個袋子比那個大。

例： Incontrasttohersister,sheisverytall. 與姐姐相比，她很高。

2.bycontrast相比、相較之下 bycontrast比起incontrast來說，較不那麼常用。

bycontrast用法跟incontrast差不多，bycontrast可以單獨出現 ，或是後面接with。

bycontrast後面只能接with，不能接to唷。

例： Inthesouthmuchofthelandisflat.Bycontrast,inthenorththerearehillsandmountainseverywhere. 在南部，大部分土地都是平坦的。

相反，在北部到處都是丘陵和山脈。
